Choosing the best matcha for your cup.

When comparing matcha in Turkey, look for a named producer, a clear origin, the pack size and practical preparation guidance. Tasting notes help you choose a flavour profile you enjoy.

Prepare Kaze No Shiro.

The recipe published for this matcha: sift 3 g, add 70 ml of water at 75 °C, then whisk with a bamboo chasen for 15–20 seconds using an M-shaped motion. Add milk if you prefer. A 30 g pack makes about ten servings at this dose.

Keep the opened pack tightly sealed, protected from light and moisture, and refrigerated, following the storage advice on its product page.

Choose powder and tools separately.

A chawan is the bowl, a chasen is the bamboo whisk, and a kusenaoshi supports the whisk as it dries. Our Wu Wei × Roads sets distinguish options with and without a whisk. Read each set’s contents and select your matcha powder separately.
